Ken Nowland Founder | Financial Advisor
Ken Nowland is the founder of Summit Retirement Services, a wealth advisory firm. As a financial advisor, Ken holds the Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) and an insurance license. Ken’s primary focus is on retirement, income tax and risk mitigation, seeking consistency and reliability above all else. It’s not what you earn, but what you keep that matters most. Ken will work with you to create a well-thought-out financial strategy, tailored to your specific needs, to help you feel confident about your financial future.
Ken is committed to a career that utilizes his knowledge and experience to help meet and exceed his clients’ needs. He attributes his professional and personal success to his strong work ethic, family values, and a sincere passion for helping others. In his free time, Ken and his family enjoy many outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and fishing, as well as photography, cooking and entertaining family and friends.
Sean Nowland Insurance Professional
Sean Nowland is always looking for ways to help others. A knowledgeable, driven and giving individual, he believes in creating and nurturing lifelong relationships with his clients.
Before joining Summit Retirement Services, Sean worked for one of the largest banks in the United States, where he helped people work towards their financial goals. While working in the banking industry, he championed his coworkers and customers to grow, networked with other professionals in the financial industry and attended charitable events benefiting local organizations. He applies his banking experience to his role as an insurance professional. As a part of the Summit Retirement Services team, Sean assists in helping people to mitigate risk, reduce taxes, create reliable income, and plan for a successful retirement.
In his free time, Sean enjoys all things outdoors, including hiking, biking, camping, golfing and spending time with friends and family. He and his girlfriend recently adopted an Australian sheepdog named Summer, and they are excited to have a new hiking buddy. Sean is actively working on one of his lifelong goals to visit all the national parks in the United States.
Kim Hart Director of Operations
Kimberly Hart believes the primary opportunity for changing the world is at the individual level. She is dedicated to assisting each client with the warmth and knowledge that sets Summit Retirement Services apart from other institutions. As your first contact with Summit Retirement Services, she will ensure you feel at ease entrusting us with your retirement plan.
Before joining the Summit Team, she spent much of her career in the arts and non-profit worlds. One of her favorite milestones was fundraising for a non-profit wrestling club to provide scholarships to children of low-income families.
Kimberly is a Native Arizonan, and on weekends, she might be found with her dogs, exploring the roads less traveled by. Of course, you're just as likely to uncover her with her nose in a fantasy novel, or searching for the best taco in the southwest.
